What the Studio Covers
We work where instrument design, tone identity, and technical repeatability matter most.
- Analog synth calibration and signal-path refinement for studio reliability.
- Digital synth programming, macro design, and preset architecture.
- Custom sound design for records, trailers, games, and branded media.
- Product research and QA direction for Synthlaab FX workflows.
Who We Build For
Synthlaab fits projects that need more than stock presets or quick template decisions.
Artists building a recognizable synth palette.
Producers who need reliable recall across remote collaboration.
Media teams creating instrument-led assets for trailers, games, and branded content.
Studios that need clean synth preparation before tracking, mixing, or final delivery.
Built on Real Hardware Systems
Our process is grounded in physical instruments, patching, conversion, monitoring, and documented recall. The goal is not generic preset output; it is stable synth behavior, controlled capture, and repeatable delivery.
- Analog and hybrid console workflow with Rupert Neve Designs 5060, Ocean Audio Ark 516, and extensive DB25 patchbay routing.
- Large microphone lineup for voice and instruments, including Neumann, Royer, Shure, Electro-Voice, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, and Blue.
- Deep 500-series ecosystem for tone shaping and dynamics: API, Kush Audio, AEA, Chandler, Avedis, Great River, Elysia, Bettermaker, and more.
- Professional conversion and I/O through UAD Apollo x16 and Antelope Orion 32 with calibrated analog integration.
- Multi-reference monitoring chain with Barefoot MicroMain27, ADAM A7X, and Avantone CLA-10A, plus dedicated power conditioning and studio furniture/rack architecture.
- Additional hardware processing includes Distressor, STC-8, Portico II, mastering EQ/limiting, multi-effects, and a 16-channel 1-inch tape recorder workflow.
